Learning to code is a skill that will become increasingly common in technology as the industry advances. At present, it powers our TVs, cell phones, cars, and even much of our world.
Alexandru Cocindau, the founder and chairman of the TeachMeCode Institute, understands that the world of tech is ever-evolving and that more people will be needed to run the infrastructure that makes up our world sooner rather than later.
Alexandru Cocindau’s Background
Born and raised in Galati, Romania, in the 1980s, Alexandru Cocindau is a businessman, investor, author, and tech enthusiast who runs multiple companies in different industries. As the founder of the TeachMeCode Institute, he has worked to demystify the digital language and offers a gateway to a plethora of opportunities with one of the largest IT schools in Dubai.
“Mr. Cocindau is pioneering a new model of job placement by connecting students directly with potential employers through their own professional page, generating immense value for both students and companies,” Cocindau’s profile states. “His leadership, vision, and entrepreneurial spirit make him a driving force in the IT industry.”
Alexandru Cocindau adds that, in his more than seventeen years of leading a pioneering software development company, he has witnessed the evolution of technology firsthand. He says that eight years ago, he encountered a setback. Rather than be limited by it, Cocindau used it as an opportunity to develop a weekend school that leveraged the experience of his dedicated developers. Years later, the endeavor transformed into what Cocindau describes as a “beacon of learning” that has produced numerous generations of adept developers. Today, he adds, these developers have become the pillars of TeachMeCode.
The TeachMeCode Institute
TeachMeCode Institute offers coding courses for children and adults, starting from age 7. Kids can join specialized bootcamps: Junior Developer Bootcamp teaches HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; Junior Gamer Bootcamp focuses on game development with SCRATCH and robotics; Junior Engineer Bootcamp covers 3D modeling, 3D printing, and basic electronics. Teenagers and adults can enroll in courses covering UX/UI design, front-end and back-end development, Python fundamentals, and mobile development.
These programs aim to build a strong foundation in tech skills, fostering creativity, confidence, and future-ready knowledge. Classes are engaging, hands-on, and tailored to inspire innovation and discovery.
The TeachMeCode courses are broken down into three-month intervals, during which students are led by instructors at the institute and learn the various applications their courses provide. Their curriculum includes not just traditional courses but bootcamps, wherein students undergo intensive coding classes to learn a variety of future-ready technologies. There are even Kids’ Classes, where younger learners from ages 7 to 15 can learn to build websites and create games with SCRATCH, which is a programming language for kids.
“Our courses, tailored to the market’s pulse, guide students towards rewarding careers, connecting them with top-tier employers,” their website states. “Whether your passion lies in front-end development, back-end solutions, or web and mobile UX/UI design, we pave your path.”
TeachMeCode has been described as the “School of the Future,” and with a plethora of classes to choose from, expert instructors to learn from, and an institute that fosters learning, students can learn to code from the ground up, and even jumpstart their path to employment opportunities as well!
